Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Ashburn, GA, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc. (NYSE :   LEG), is seeking a 1st shift Supervisor to join our team. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.

So, what will you be doing as a Operations Supervisor?

  • Manage 35-45 production and shipping employees
  • Establish a shipping and receiving schedule daily
  • Manage production process
  • Establish inbound / outbound logistics daily
  • Oversee and communicate all company safety information and initiatives
  • Responsible for writing Job Performance, Quality Reviews, and Safety / Attendance warnings, as well as addressing employee concerns in an appropriate manner
  • Keep the Branch Manager informed of all issues : maintenance, personnel, quality, safety, etc.
  • Additional duties may be required

To be successful in this role, you'll need :

  • Proven successful warehouse and production management and / or supervisory experience
  • Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reporting
  • Adequate math skills for production and shipping calculations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Erosion and / or Textiles preferred
  • College degree preferred
