The Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Security Solutions Manager with the Cybersecurity Risk Management Division.

Security Solutions Manager oversees the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the business objectives of cybersecurity tools and platforms. This role ensures that security solutions are deployed effectively, aligned with strategic goals, and adapted to the changing threat landscape.

By managing the solutions and driving enhancements, the Security Solutions Manager helps ensure systems address the cybersecurity strategy. Their work is crucial for coordinating resources, ensuring compliance, and enabling the agency to respond swiftly to security challenges, ultimately strengthening the organization's overall cybersecurity posture.

Minimum Qualifications

Proven experience managing cybersecurity services, including deployment and operational support of security tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management).

Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, best practices, and threat landscapes.

Experience working collaboratively with product management and engineering teams.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Hands-on technical skills to troubleshoot and understand security tools and platforms.
