Job description50-55 average hours weekly in winter months (October-March) Overtime pay after 40 hours Paid via direct deposit weekly Great company benefits starting immediately : Life Insurance Short-term & long-term disability Insurance 401K with company matchstarting after 6 months 6 Paid Company Holidays Paid Time Off Paid training and paid orientation Perks : Propane discounts, boot allowance, cell phone allowance Home Time : Home every night Schedule : Monday through Friday schedule, day shift On-call rotations for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries Route : 100 miles around Union City, OK Level of Touch : Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations Provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires Conducts themselves in a professional manner with poise and dignity as a company representative Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance Perform leak checks and ensure appliances are up to code in customer homes and businesses Class B propane bobtail trucks Automatic transmission Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A or B license Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience with a clean driving record Must be physically able to lift up to 60 pounds, in all weather conditions Hazmat endorsement required Must have tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain prior to onboarding No DUI / DWIs in last 7 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 30 miles of Union City, OK Transportation
Menz Propane, a division of Platform Fuels, is hiring a CDL A or B Local Propane Delivery Driver in Union City, OK . As a full-time driver on our team, you will pick up and deliver propane to residential and industrial customers in a safe and efficient manner. Our Propane delivery drivers can expect to work local routes and be home to their families every night. Our customers rely on our drivers as their primary connection to the propane they need to fuel their homes, farms, and businesses. Propane drivers are the first-line ambassadors of our brand and as such we want the very best to represent our company.
Compensation
- Paid $20 - $22 per hour
40 average hours weekly in summer months (April-September)
