Position Overview

365 Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum opportunity in Waterloo, Iowa . The provider will perform anesthesia services for general surgical and obstetric cases within a collaborative, team-based environment.

Full-time coverage is preferred, but candidates with at least 2 weeks per month availability are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Details

Start Date : ASAP (January–February 2026 start accepted)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 6 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Weekends : Call only (rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call)

Night Call : Every 3–4 days

No clinic duties

EMR : EPIC (implementation in 2025)

Case Mix & Environment

OB : Yes (including TOLAC)

Pediatrics : Healthy peds (tonsils / adenoids)

Procedures : General, OB, peds, conscious sedation

No hearts or neurosurgery

Supervision : Collaborative model with CRNA support

ORs : 13

Average Volume : 30–50 cases per day (department total)

Compensation & Reimbursements

Hourly : $445 / hr

Overtime : $555 / hr

Night Call : $642 per call

24-Hour Call : $2,858 (includes 4 gratis hours)

Travel, lodging, and mileage covered  (flights, hotel, and car per GSA standards)

Requirements

Board Certified Anesthesiologist (MD / DO) –

No BE candidates

Active Iowa License or IMLC with LOQ

ACLS (AHA) – can be completed during credentialing

COVID vaccination required

Clean malpractice and background history –

no exceptions

Available at least 2 weeks per month
