Radiation Oncology Job Details

Employment Type : Locum tenens (contract / per diem)

Location : On-site in Zanesville, Ohio (zip 43701)

Schedule : 3-4 days per week, flexible scheduling (.6 FTE required)

Shift Duration : 12-hour shifts

Start Date : November 1, 2025

End Date : Ongoing

Department : Radiation Oncology

EMR : EPIC (hospital), ARIA RO Treatment (oncology)

Accreditations : ACR, ACoS, HFAP, NSABP, QOPI

Estimated Weekly Salary : $5,860 - $6,940

Radiation Oncology Physician Qualifications

Board Certified Physician in Radiation Oncology (required)

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in radiation oncology jobs

Active ABLS and BLS certifications

Clean application history

Proficiency with advanced radiation oncology techniques and technologies

Fellowship in Radiation Oncology preferred

Credentialing timeframe : approximately 30 days

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert radiation oncology care, including patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up

Operate advanced equipment : Siemens SomaTom CT Simulator, Varian TrueBeam & Trilogy, Elekta-Nucletron HDR

Perform brachytherapy (intracavitary) and external beam therapy (EBRT) including Rapid Arc / VMAT, electrons

Provide conventional / conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and participate in clinical trials

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : clinical managers, RTTs, RNs, physicists, CMDs, nurse navigators, and support staff

Support ongoing development of patient services and quality improvement initiatives
