As an Avelo Aircraft Maintenance Technician you will ensure the safe, compliant, on-time and efficient maintenance of Avelo aircraft at the line maintenance level. This is achieved by coordinating and executing aircraft maintenance, open transparent communication, and maintaining safety and compliance as Avelos first line of defense. The Technician will foster and develop teamwork and leadership that embraces our companys Purpose, Vision, and Values

Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain an understanding of the maintenance program
Coordinate and execute scheduled and unscheduled work loads
Assume ownership of the aircraft while on duty
Maintain open communication with Team Leads, Maintenance Control and Pilots
Demonstrated knowledge of Structural Repair Manual conditional use and damage assessment
Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) Program and promote a Safety Always culture

Behavioral Competencies

Possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving / troubleshooting skills

Ability to clearly lead, mentor and instruct other Crew Members

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required

High School diploma (or equivalent)

3 years of experience on different types of aircraft with 10 or more seat with an air carrier or certificated repair station preferred

Knowledge of aircraft systems and troubleshooting and MEL / CDL procedures

Boeing Systems Fam courses preferred

737 Line maintenance preferred

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. for a distance of 10 feet

Must be able to work outside in inclement weather

Must be able to work shift work, weekends, and holidays

Possible travel for training, deployment and / or issue resolution up to 25% away from base

Must provide own hand tools to meet minimum company tool list

Must have the authority to work in the U.S as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986

Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Current and Valid Drivers License required
