As a Pro Shop Attendant, you are at the heart of the golf experience welcoming guests, managing the flow of play, and delivering the kind of exceptional service that keeps players coming back. Every interaction is an opportunity to anticipate needs, create a connection, and elevate the experience for both members and guests.
On the Job : Guest Experience & Frontline Hospitality
- Greet every member and guest with energy, warmth, and professionalism make them feel valued and appreciated from the moment they walk in
- Assist with golfer check-in, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience
- Anticipate questions and offer proactive support from tee times and merchandise suggestions to course details and membership benefits
- Create a welcoming retail environment by authentically engaging with guests and helping them find what they need
- Actively promote Arcis memberships by confidently explaining benefits and encouraging participation
Tee Sheet & Operational Coordination
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, handling tee time requests, updates, and guest inquiriesAccurately manage the tee sheet to ensure smooth flow, efficient pairing of groups, and timely startsCommunicate regularly with Starters and Guest Services to maintain awareness of pace of play, player movement, and group coordinationKeep guests informed of daily course conditions, including cart path rules, maintenance updates, and weather-related changesRetail & Point-of-Sale Responsibilities
Use the POS system to check in golfers, collect green / cart fees, and complete merchandise salesPromote and upsell merchandise through product knowledge and a genuine desire to enhance the guest experienceMaintain proper cash handling practices, including daily register setup, reconciliation, and closeout proceduresAssist with inventory management, restocking, tagging, and rotating merchandise as neededPro Shop Appearance & Cleanliness
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Golf Shop environment dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, and ensuring merchandise is attractively displayedTake ownership of the guest-facing space, ensuring it reflects the pride and standards of the facilityReport any maintenance issues or product shortages to management in a timely mannerTeam Collaboration & Support
Work closely with the Guest Services, Player Assistants and Management to ensure all departments are aligned in delivering exceptional serviceSupport golf operations by assisting with Starter duties when needed and helping manage first tee logisticsPerform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional or Golf Operations ManagerTeam Member Lifestyle Perks!
