As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Driver Education in Chicago IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned areas. Your role involves responding promptly to situations engaging with students staff and visitors and upholding a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to individuals at the educational location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order within the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or behaviors.

Observe and report any irregularities such as security-related breaches or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities incidents and / or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.

Support Allied Universal and client staff during special events emergencies and / or other campus functions as directed.

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
