American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ER Float Pool position in Utah, requiring a compact or UT RN license and advanced certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in the Emergency Room (ER) Float Pool covering Zone 2 within the Utah regionAcute care hospital setting with a trauma level 4 designationNight shifts, 12 hours, 7p-7a, with every other weekend requiredAssignment is 13 weeks in durationTravelers are required to float throughout all facilities within a 60-mile radius of the zone's city centerEpic EMR is used for charting and documentationResponsible for delivering patient care across multiple emergency departments within the designated float zoneOrientation includes 12 hours onsite; travelers must be present in-state for orientation weekHousing must be within a range that allows floating across all zone facilitiesA 60-mile radius rule from the float zone city center applies for eligibilityCandidates may not have been employed by CommonSpirit-affiliated facilities (including CHI or Dignity) in the past year, except through outside PRN agenciesScrub color and dress code details provided prior to assignmentHoliday coverage may be required based on facility need\n \n Requirements\n
Active UT or compact RN license required at time of considerationMinimum 2 years of recent ER experience requiredCurrent certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS, and either ENPC or PALSExperience working in an acute care emergency settingMust submit a copy of driver's license with applicationTwo professional references required : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility\n Benefits\n
