Diesel Truck Mechanic

Responsibilities :

• Truck Mechanic will diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines.
• Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Truck Mechanic perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary.
• Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance.
• The truck Mechanic will complete oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks.
• Truck Mechanic will maintain records of parts inventory and service vehicles.

Ability to commute / relocate :

Savannah, GA 31405 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience :

Diesel engine repair : 4 years (Preferred).

Mechanical knowledge : 4 years (Preferred).

Shift availability :

Day Shift (Preferred).

Night Shift (Preferred).

Overnight Shift (Preferred).

Work Location :

One Site
