Job Summary : Talent Software Services is in search of a Hardware Design Engineer for a contract position in Mountain View, CA. The opportunity will be a year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary : Work on silicon architecture, designing the overall structure and functionality of silicon chips.

Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

• C / C++ test and test platform development
• Python scripting for test vector generation
• IP block hardware model development in C / C++

Expectations include working with limited direction, paying attention to detail, and providing clear status updates on progress, issues, and risks to the management team.

Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm : The role consists of 10% meetings (two technical meetings a week, one 1 : 1 meeting for 15-30 minutes with the reporting manager a week), and 90% focused work. Note that there may be more meetings initially while ramping up.
