Overview

The Pitch Content Manager, Global Client Pursuits will be responsible for writing, developing, and managing high-quality and insightful pitch content with engaging descriptions of our firms legal, business, and market capabilities to address key client issues. The role joins a high-performing global pursuits team that leads on high-value pitches and creates centralized content, templates, and other resources for enabling lawyers and other teams to deliver pitches.

This is an excellent career opportunity for an individual with business writing skills, looking to specialize in writing commercial solutions, in collaboration with partners, lawyers, knowledge management, and business development professionals. This role also includes the responsibility to manage a content coordinator who supports organizing and maintaining centralized pitch content for the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Write strong value propositions and legal solution descriptions for use in pitch documents, in collaboration with partners, lawyers, knowledge management, and business development / marketing professionals, bringing out differentiated positioning and client benefits
  • Organize and manage centrally curated pitch content on the firms pitch automation platform for seamless access across the firm
  • Audit existing pitch content to identify gaps, refresh content, and rewrite to align with evolving business needs and client / market feedback
  • Engage in proactive, insightful, and continuous content enhancements / development, including review of resource usage and content structuring
  • Collaborate with Global Client Pursuits experts and colleagues worldwide to identify needs for new content and obtain regular feedback
  • Share best practices and provide training on pitch content writing and management
  • Serve as the editorial gatekeeper for content in the firms central pitch automation software and centralized content library, establishing protocols to ensure quality and consistency
  • Align content usage and access with evolving technology platforms and AI features
  • Develop and share data analytics and regular reports on pitch content usage to identify gaps and address them
  • Handle other content, infrastructure, or related projects as needed

Skills and experience

  • Bachelors degree with strong business and commercial writing experience
  • Experience in business development in professional services, ideally law firms, with hands-on experience in proposal development and / or similar content writing
  • Organization, project management, and ability to handle multiple projects; strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with senior stakeholders and remote teams
  • Flexibility, can-do attitude; motivated and energetic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good presentation skills

    Dubai (Primary) or Belfast or Tampa Centers; NA Office (Houston, Toronto); EMEA Offices (Madrid, Munich, Johannesburg)
