SUMMARY OF JOB :
Lead the credit underwriting and portfolio management process for commercial loans (C&I, Agricultural, Enterprise Value, Real Estate, Construction, Tax Incentivized, Private Banking, etc.), in a manner designed to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and quality. This position will also lead and manage a team of portfolio managers, underwriters and credit analysts. Collect, compile, and analyze financial information to facilitate lending and monitoring decisions for commercial credit requests. Work closely with Bankers, Customers, and Credit Administration to steer the credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring process and ensure it is supportive and collaborative.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES :
Manage the loan underwriting process and underwriting pipeline to ensure credit quality and accuracy of output by Credit Analyst / underwriters, and Portfolio Manager team.Underwrite complex C&I, Agricultural, Enterprise Value, Real Estate, Construction, Tax Incentivized, and Private Banking loan transactions for new and existing clients with complicated borrowing structures. Responsible for compilation of data and interpreting outcomes of analysis, utilizing sound credit underwriting skills to recommend credit decisions, maximize credit quality and minimize risk / potential loss to the Bank.Assist Credit Administration and Commercial Banking Staff with Pre-Flight / Loan Committee presentations.Collaborate with Bankers on calls with existing and potential Customers to better understand client needs to grow the Bank’s Book of Business.Ongoing monitoring of Commercial Banking Products to provide portfolio-wide metrics used for regulatory reporting, internal risk assessment / mitigation, Executive Management strategic decisioning, etc.Strong sense of urgency and commitment to the Company’s loan growth goals.Work with Bankers to mentor Credit Analysts / Portfolio Managers for the ongoing monitoring of Bank’s Commercial Loan Portfolio.Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.Embody, embrace, and demonstrate InBank’s Core Values : Commitment, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork, Happiness, and Authenticity.Other duties as assigned.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Requirements
Education :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceWork Experience :
2+ years of experience in credit analysis and / or lending activities. 2+ years’ experience in SBA loans / lending.Supervisory Experience :

Proficient working knowledge of financial and spread analysis, credit, lending, and underwriting processes and principles.Proficient working knowledge of credit risk and relationship manager teams.Solid internal and external relationship and communication skills – both verbal and written.Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately in a production-oriented environment.Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations regarding credit risk (quality, structure, etc.).Ability to think critically, operating independently, and take accountability.Occasional travel may be required for meetings / trainings.Must be able to use fingers, hands, and wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone.Preferred Skills / Experience :
