As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail and mall environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you monitor and support the location's security-related needs. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution and / or emergency protocols as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts. Assist with access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access within the retail or mall property. Provide visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other disruptive behavior in the retail or mall setting. Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies within the location. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
