Controls Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position will lead new controls / plant automation projects, champion Best Methods teams and standardization processes. It will also provide support to all areas (Engineering - advanced, program, or development, Manufacturing, Commercial, Quality, etc.) where controls engineering expertise is required, including launch support and customer initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ability to lead / supervise / train skilled technicians across multiple shifts and function in team environment.
• Support Operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and programming all plant equipment.
• Responsible for programming and designing PLC controls for new equipment, Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Project Management on new automation projects.
• Data collection from Plant Automation
• Ability to travel in support of job functions.
• Overtime as required / requested.
