Job Title : Diesel Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and software.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, including fuel systems, emissions controls, and hydraulics.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize vehicle downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies through ongoing training and certifications.
