Staff Technical Artist (Bay Area / Paris / Remote)

What You'll Do

• Build and optimize realistic, scalable 3D environments where robots learn to act in the world
• Collaborate with AI, robotics, and graphics teams to define requirements for asset materials, shaders, lighting, and physical properties, ensuring both the visual fidelity and physical accuracy needed to train robot control models
• Create tools to ingest and standardize assets from scans, CAD data, or generative AI models
• Work with and manage third-party asset vendors, with the goal of building the world's best library of assets and scenes for robotics simulation
• Create stunning demos that showcase our work to the graphics community and inspire talent to join our mission
• Build our in-house Real2Sim pipeline to transform real-world environments into high-fidelity digital twins for robotics training
