Maintenance Mechanic's

Currently hiring Maintenance Mechanic's in the Chicago, IL area. Hiring immediately for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Job Description

• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and replace belts, bearings, chains, shafts, sprockets, and gearboxes.
• Repair and maintain conveyors, mixers, pumps, scales, x-ray machines, metal detectors, date coders, chillers, proofers, ovens, and baggers.
• Work with and maintain electrical systems up to 480V.
• Rewire and replace 3 phase motors, photo eyes, sensors, switches, relays, and fuses.
• Assist machine operators with machinery setup and changeovers.
• Perform welding and fabricating tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Work Environment

Openings are available for 2nd shift (3 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM) and 3rd shift (11 : 00pm-7 : 30am). Training will be conducted on the 1st shift (7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM). You must be open to working 6 days a week, 48-55 hours weekly, with random off days. This is a direct hire / permanent position starting out paying $34.35 per hour including benefits and $2.00 shift differential for a total of $36. 35 per hour

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00 / hr.
