AVI Foodsystems is seeking energetic and skilled culinarians to join our patient and retail culinary teams at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania , located in University City, Philadelphia, PA. Salary compensation is $55,000 to $65,000 annually.

- Supervise and manage the patient services and retail culinary production teams
 - Engage with team members to ensure the highest levels of food quality in preparation, cooking and serving
 - Supervise production of recipes in accordance with company standards and therapeutic dietary restrictions
 - Follow all HACCP rules for food production / storage
 - Select and develop menus, recipes and other requests
 - Continuously create and oversee new menu options
 - Proactively identify opportunities to nurture client relationships and grow sales
 - Provide outstanding customer service support
 - Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
 - Follow directions and implement instructions from the Executive Chef
 - Listen and effectively respond to the needs of leadership
 - Pursue and complete directives with limited supervision
 
Requirements :
ServSafe Certification is strongly preferredExperience managing a busy kitchenCulinary certification preferredExperience with therapeutic diets is a plusExperience ordering and monitoring suppliesCreativity and passion to help our team produce innovative dishesExcellent verbal & written communication skillsA passion towards safety and sanitationAbility to create a talented staff to provide consistency in all food and service functionsProfessional appearanceAbility to provide a high level of customer serviceBenefits :
