Position Summary : Center For Family Services is seeking motivated, culturally sensitive and compassionate individuals for the Residential Care Provider positions for the Juntos Program. The Residential Care Provider will be a key member of the program's team by providing direct counseling services and support to children and teens in the program.

About the Juntos Program : Juntos provides temporary shelter to unaccompanied children and teenagers who have crossed the southern border into the United States and are in need of a safe place to live. Our goal is to help children through these difficult circumstances and to minimize the impact by providing a warm and caring home that seeks to reunite children with their family. Services are focused on the safety of every child in our care. We utilize a Nurtured Heart, a trauma informed care approach, which emphasizes physical, psychological and emotional safety for the children in our care and helps them rebuild a sense of control.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provides supervision of Residential Care Providers
• Assures the continuing training and development of program staff
• Assigns staff work schedules, makes appropriate changes when indicated
• Assists residential counselors in providing life skills education, counseling and other service delivery areas
• Coordinates recreation and physical education activities for the youth
• Coordinates appointments with Medical consultants and ensures all over-the-counter and prescription medication are on hand and correctly administered
