Tropical Clinical Trials is seeking for full time Medical Assistant to join our dynamic and collaborative research team. This role is ideal for a certified Medical Assistant with strong clinical and administrative skills who is passionate about advancing medical knowledge and providing high-quality patient care in a research-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Research Support
- Learn and adhere to specific clinical trial protocols, ensuring compliance by all involved staff and participants.
- Assist in recruiting, screening, and enrolling research subjects according to study inclusion / exclusion criteria.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, injections , and assist with medication administration as required by protocol.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms for research visits, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for procedures.
- Extract and verify data from medical records to accurately complete case report forms (CRFs).
- Collaborate with research nurses and principal investigators to verify participant eligibility.
