SHW Event Lead
Student Health & Wellness is a service-oriented unit responsible for housing various programs and services such as Mental Health Services (CAPS), Care and Support Services (CASS), Insurance / Billing, Medical Services, Disability Services (SDAC), and Well-being Services. The SHW Event Lead ensures the proper use of the SHW building, the safety and well-being of patrons, and compliance with facility use and related policies and procedures. The SHW Event Lead is responsible for all areas of operation on weekdays and weekends from 7 : 30am to 12 : 00am including, but not limited to, all reservations, setting up reserved events, AV set up and troubleshooting, supervision of fellow student employees, welcoming and guiding guests upon entry, following event reports, building security, and patron safety.

Commitment
This position requires a minimum of 10 hours per week and a maximum of 20 hours per week (unless >
20 hours / week is approved by Dean). Attendance at all training activities and staff meetings is required. Prior to the start of the Fall semester, training typically begins ten days before the start of classes and lasts approximately one week. The position requires being a role model by wearing proper attire and demonstrating professionalism and upholding expectations of the SHW student employment program. In addition, evening and weekend work will be required.

Requirements
Must be able to perform moderately heavy physical duties (i.e. lifting and setting up equipment). Must be a current SHWC Event Assistant.
Compensation
$14 / hour
