Job description

Position : Registered Nurse I - Part-Time (Benefited) Multiple Shifts - Continuous Posting\n\nOverview\n\nThis is an open and continuous posting for part-time positions on multiple shifts for newly licensed Registered Nurses. Tewksbury Hospital, operated by the Department of Public Health (DPH), a 370-bed Joint Commission accredited hospital, is currently seeking caring and attentive individuals to serve as a Registered Nurse I working 24 or 32 hours per week on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.\n\nOpenings are on the DPH Medical Units at Tewksbury Hospital. The hospital provides comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with medical and / or mental illnesses.\nShifts and Schedule\n\nShifts : \n\n1st shift 6 : 45 am – 3 : 15 pm; 2nd shift 2 : 45 pm – 11 : 15 pm; 3rd shift 11 : 00 pm – 7 : 00 am. After Nursing Orientation, these positions are 24 or 32 hours per week on assigned shift. Required to work every other weekend; other days off as assigned. Employees in this position will be required to perform mandatory overtime.\nCompensation\n\nAnnual Base Rate Salary Range does not reflect shift differential.\n\nAnnual Base Salary for 24 hours per week : $49,740.28 - $83,000.73\n\nAnnual Base Salary for 32 hours per week : $66,320.38 - $\nResponsibilities\n\nGeneral Summary of RN I / Staff Nurse duties : The RN I provides direct care to patients between 20 – 100+ years of age with chronic medical problems, with acute exacerbation at times and with diminished capabilities in ADLs needing consistent nursing care. Must assess, plan, implement and evaluate the direct and indirect care needs of patients. Provides direction and supervision to other staff.\nAbout\n\nTewksbury Hospital\n\nTewksbury Hospital operates a 370-bed facility and a campus of over 700 acres of land. Its patient care services are provided under the auspices of the Department of Public Health and Mental Health. It is a Joint Commission accredited LTAC hospital that provides high quality, comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with chronic medical and mental illness.
