About the Role

The Company is in need of an experienced AVP, Asset Management to take on a key role in overseeing a portfolio of multifamily and / or industrial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the primary focus on asset management, with additional involvement in acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate approval processes. This includes overseeing third-party property managers, executing business plans, monitoring performance against budgets, and preparing reports. The role also involves conducting property inspections, managing property-level cash flow, and supporting financial aspects of acquisitions and dispositions.

Applicants for the AVP, Asset Management position at the company should have a Bachelors degree in finance, real estate, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in an institutional setting. Strong financial analysis and modeling skills are essential, with Argus experience being a plus. The role requires a deep knowledge of real estate operations, budgeting, and investment strategy, as well as excellent communication, multitasking, and people management abilities. The AVP will also be expected to guide and mentor junior team members and collaborate with various stakeholders for corporate approvals.
