Location : Blair Medical Associates Altoona, PA Schedule : Full-Time | MondayFriday | Day Shift

UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team at the Blair Medical location. This front-line role is essential to ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. If you're organized, compassionate, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients, verify demographics and insurance
- Schedule appointments and manage wait / reschedule lists
- Collect copays and process payments using UPAY
- Assist patients with Welcome Kiosks and AVS (After Visit Summary)
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally
- Troubleshoot and report issues with office equipment
- Support patients with insurance questions and UPMC / BMA policies
- Follow department workflows and assist during system downtimes
