Accounts Payable Dayshift | Full-Time

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing accounts payable processes? A local manufacturer is seeking an accounts payable professional to join their accounting team. This full-time position involves processing invoices and payments, supporting accounting functions across departments, and maintaining accurate financial records. If you're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable transactions on a daily basis
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice and provider payments
• Provide accounting support across all areas of the company
• Assist employees and management with accounts payable and expense-related inquiries
• Research and resolve accounts payable issues to avoid service interruptions
• Accurately enter financial data into the system
• Identify and capture vendor discounts; seek opportunities to reduce costs
• Prepare and process payments and ensure compliance with internal policies

Requirements :

Strong multi-tasking and time management skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented, assertive, and personable

Good math skills and ability to identify numerical errors

Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

Excellent communication, phone, and customer service skills

Proficient with computers and accounting software

Strong organizational skills

Advanced education in accounting or related field (preferred)
