Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 16-32 weeks

Start Date : December 15, 2025

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 17 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2400-$2460

Weekend Rotation : Possible every other weekend

Holiday Coverage : Must be willing to work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

OR (Operating Room) experience required

Recent Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)

Previous travel healthcare experience required (no first-time travelers)

Radiology / Cardiology certification required (ARRT or equivalent)

COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation access)

Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires from November to April

Willingness to float to other campuses as needed

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, Dexa, and Vascular studies

Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety during all radiology procedures

Float to additional campuses to support clinical operations as needed

Participate in weekend rotations and holiday coverage as scheduled

Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic EMR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes

Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards in a clinical setting
