Travel ICU / CCU

Minimum one year ICU experience.  Charge capable preferred but not mandatory. 9-bed Critical Access ICU nestled in the breathtaking Pacific Northwest! Enjoy small-town charm with big-city access—just a short drive to both Seattle and Portland.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel ICU / CCU Registered Nurse to join our team on a temporary assignment. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Coronary Care Unit (CCU), ensuring high-quality care in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Administer medications, manage ventilators, drips, and life-support equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to treatment, and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital and unit protocols.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and perform advanced life support procedures as needed.
  • Ensure infection control and safety compliance at all times.

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN / BSN) required.
  • License : Current and valid RN license in the state of assignment (or compact license).
  • Certifications :

    • Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or CCU experience in an acute care setting.
  • Travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
