About Our Client

A leading general contractor with a strong reputation in New England is seeking an Estimator to join their Worcester, MA office. The ideal candidate will bring field experience as a Superintendent and / or Project Manager and an interest in growing into a senior estimating role.

Job Description

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project requirements. Analyze construction documents to determine material, labor, and equipment needs. Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends. Assist in developing project budgets and timelines. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Conduct risk assessments and propose cost-saving solutions. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards in all estimates.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have :

• Experience in preparing construction cost estimates with attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
• A degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
