Job Title : Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Pay Range : $28-40 / hr based on experience
Schedule : Monday – Friday (8x5 or 4x10’s available)
No weekends or On-Call | Overtime optional on weekends or after hours

Position Summary :
The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) supports the delivery of medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on restoring function, preventing disability, and helping patients achieve optimal performance while adapting to physical limitations. The LPTA promotes a culture of safety and excellence by adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements, including those of the Joint Commission and national patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide patient care consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Respect patient rights and involve them in treatment planning and decision-making.
- Implement individualized therapy programs to achieve measurable goals, monitor patient responses, and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to communicate patient progress and any additional needs or treatment modifications.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff on therapy techniques and strategies to support rehabilitation.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and enhance process efficiency.
- Support compliance with The Joint Commission standards across departmental and organizational levels.
- Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure high-quality, timely patient care.
Qualifications :
Education : Associate of Science in Physical Therapist AssistantLicensure : Active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of GeorgiaExperience : New graduates welcome. Experience in acute care, outpatient rehab, or skilled nursing preferred.Skills : Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.Service Excellence Expectations :
