Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role located preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for overseeing the company's technological direction, leading software development projects, and establishing IT strategy. You will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of new products and enhancements while fostering innovation and technological advancements. The CTO will also manage the product development lifecycle and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Strategise, build and operate a full‑fledged tech team to ship and scale Waiv’s MVP on the App Store and Play Store.
• Work with the CEO and the CFO to outline and execute the 3‑year plan to achieve user acquisition and revenue growth.
• Develop the mobile app MVP with offline Tap‑to‑Pay and card management.
• Integrate the app with backend services and AI recommendations.
• Ensure a smooth, secure, and responsive user experience.
• Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to deliver core MVP features.
• Oversee and execute the development of the mobile app MVP, integration, and user experience tasks.
