We are looking for an experienced Duck Creek Policy and Billing Lead Developer to design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions within the Duck Creek Suite, with a strong focus on Policy and Billing modules. The ideal candidate will lead technical delivery, collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities : Lead the design, development, and configuration of Duck Creek Policy and Billing solutions. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Customize Duck Creek Author, Express, and Field Formulas to meet specific business needs. Integrate Duck Creek Policy and Billing modules with external systems using Duck Creek Anywhere API and other integration tools. Conduct code reviews, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers throughout the SDLC. Manage build and deployment processes using CI / CD pipelines and ensure adherence to DevOps best practices. Participate in release planning, effort estimation, and preparation of technical documentation. Stay updated with Duck Creek platform enhancements and recommend adoption strategies for new features. Required Skills and Qualifications : Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy and / or Billing. Strong expertise in Duck Creek Author, Expression Builder, Skins, Forms, and Page Designer. Experience with Duck Creek integration tools such as Anywhere API, TransACT, or Data Insights. Proficiency in .NET, C#, XML, JavaScript, and SQL Server. Sound understanding of the insurance domain, particularly Specialty Lines. Experience working in Agile environments and distributed teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications : Duck Creek certifications (Policy, Billing, or Integration). Exposure to Duck Creek OnDemand (cloud) environment. Experience with CI / CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git. Prior experience leading teams or serving as a Technical Lead. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
