The Director of Operations will have responsibility for the overall operations at the hotel, overseeing the Rooms and Food and Beverage operations in particular.

What you will have an opportunity to do :

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel.
• Financially accountable for all rooms and food and beverage outlets and banquets.
• Operates the departments in accordance with the approved budget, while providing the Client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
• Ensures that the food offered to the client, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior quality.
• Directs and conducts safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintains excellent relationships with employees, guests and Client as well as other departments within the operation.
• Able to handle responsibility for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures-follows HACCP standards
• Maintains close communication with the leaders of Food & Beverage and Rooms Departments and other department / division heads.
• Will assist in developing annual budget and action plans, including annual objectives.
• Reviews daily operating results and weekly forecasting and scheduling, taking immediate corrective action if required.
• Maintains high visibility with associates and guests.
• Assist in improving guest satisfaction score on GSS and Revinate, as well as associate engagement survey scores.
• Complete Marriott QA timely.
• Conducts daily / weekly review of Food & Beverage and Rooms Divisions operations with Department Heads.
• Will attend operational meetings, client planning meetings, Food & Beverage and Rooms departmental meetings, and associate-related events.
• Reviews annual objectives composed by department heads and monitors progress to completion over coming year.
• Monitors associate hires and disciplinary actions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Compensation : $110,000.00 - $122,000.00

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
