OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OTR)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients achieve maximum independence and qaulity of life.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and plan of care
• Address ADLs, IADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and adaptive equipment needs
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals, progress, and home programs
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, facilitiy procedures, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current state Occupational Therapist license (OTR)
• Strong communication, time management, and organization skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Lymphedema Management certification/experience

Experience:

• Prior experience in healthcare setting preferred

Work Enviroment & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform patient care activities throughout the shift
