We are actively looking for skilled marketing interns to assist with duties related to community outreach, data entry, database building, social media management, e-marketing, and additional areas as needed. Individuals will obtain practical experience and receive hands-on training, Furthermore, you will develop and enhance communication and presentation skills as it relates to team collaboration and project management.
The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team including a nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain, and
volunteer , we help the patient and family walk through their journey.
Objectives / Requirements :
Establishes and maintains relationships with physicians, medical professionals, hospitals, nursing facilities, discharge planners, and other programs that refer or potentially refer to home health and hospice
Identifies admissions in the community within assigned territory or accounts to enroll in home health and hospice in a timely manner.
Engage in community outreach programs
Assist and participate in marketing related events.
Ability to market collaboratively and productively with customers, referral sources, and the community
Position is field based and requires traveling within assigned geographic area
Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirement.
Effectively prioritize, manage and execute simultaneous tasks and bring them to completion with a strong sense of urgency.
Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Compliant with accepted professional standards and practices
Work collaboratively with a team of HR professionals
Requires 8 hours of weekly commitment (either one full-day or two-days)
Valid driver’s license and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state law and in good working order for regular out of office appointment activity.
Must be 18 and above
Volunteers are essential members of the patient’s hospice care team. Volunteers are trained to listen, care, and provide companionship for our patients during this important time in their lives. Through careful screening and orientation, our volunteers understand the hospice philosophy to provide as much comfort and quality of life to our patients as possible. All of our volunteers are trained to provide companionship, but we are especially looking for volunteers who are willing to share their time and dedication to supporting the Suncrest team with administrative support.
In the Bay Area, Suncrest Hospice serves families in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano counties and serves both patients in hospice facilities and in their own homes.
All Suncrest Hospice volunteers are required to complete a background check and TB and drug testing at no charge to you.
