Texas Rising Star Mentor - (Program Analyst) - Grant Funded

Job Summary

Under direction, analyzes and evaluates the operations, processes, and systems related to a specific City or department program. Performs variety of professional tasks in support of program operations and assists in delivering services efficiently and effectively. Exercises no supervision.

This position is a "grant funded" position, therefore unclassified and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason. Work location is 9725 Data Point, Suite 200, San Antonio, TX (78229). Field work maybe at various locations with the potential for assignments at additional sites based on business needs. Work schedule is 7 : 45 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m., Monday - Friday. May require some weekends and evenings based on business needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists in gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating program data related to performance metrics and compliance with established rules and regulations.
• Assists with interpreting and communicating program guidelines and related City policies and procedures.
• Maintains relationships with community and partner organizations regarding program initiatives.
• Assists in managing budgets and resources to ensure that program meets scope, guidelines, and budget.
• Monitors compliance with established program requirements associated with contracts and / or grants.
• Assists in identifying and prioritizing operational and technical needs and requirements.
• Assists with implementing program operations, initiatives, and services.
• Participates in community outreach to ensure awareness and participation in programs.
• Assists in coordinating with relevant department and city staff regarding program needs.
• Assists in the preparation of written reports, summaries, and presentations on program plans and performance metrics.
• Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
