Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Titusville, FL 32796 (Florida healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026)

Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital – Mixed Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and PCU

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 00), 3 shifts / week

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1190 - $1280

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Floating : Required within nursing scope

Orientation : 5 mandatory shifts (36-40 hours first week)

Charting System : Meditech

Scrub Color : Any

Parking : Free in any unrestricted space

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Active Florida or Compact RN license (required at time of application)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS (or willing to obtain before start)

Experience managing 1 : 6 patient ratios

Telemetry and cardiac drip experience (no titration)

Rapid response team and total joint replacement experience preferred

Ability to float to other units within scope

Must reside more than 30 miles from facility (no local travel nurses)

Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations

COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Availability for mandatory clinical orientation week (5 shifts)

Willingness to work 1-2 holidays during assignment

Completion of pre-employment modules (approx. 4 hours) prior to start

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in Med / Surg, Telemetry, and PCU units

Manage a 1 : 6 patient ratio, ensuring safe and effective clinical support

Monitor cardiac telemetry and administer cardiac drips (no titration)

Participate in rapid response and code situations as part of the healthcare team

Care for patients with total joint replacements and diverse medical / surgical diagnoses

Float to other nursing units within scope as needed

Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
