Project Engineer, Controls (Level 2)

Location : Fort Collins, CO

Full-Time | Travel : Up to 25% (Domestic & International)

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000 annually (based on experience)

Field Rate : $65.00 / hour

Annual Performance Bonus Eligible

What You’ll Do

• Lead project engineering from estimation and BOMs to mechanical / electrical design, documentation, and customer support
• Translate customer needs into control systems using PLCs, HMIs, GAP / Function Block, and other automation technologies
• Commission and service critical power and marine systems globally with precision and accountability
• Support sales and service teams with technical expertise and documentation
• Create technical drawings (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), wiring diagrams, manuals, and field support guides
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, keeping tasks aligned with structured execution standards
• Build detailed proposals, specs, and SOPs while leveraging internal platforms like TRAX, SalesLogix, and GCS Web Apps
