Job description

_All Ears! Center is GROWING and is looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children who are deaf and hard of hearing, and families who have chosen a listening and spoken language communication outcome for their child. Hours : 32-40 per week, Flexible Schedule

  • Education and Requirements :
  • Master's Degree
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Current Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Two years of experience with children ages 0-3 a plus
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) Fluency a plus
  • Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Assess, counsel and treat children with hearing loss
  • Guide and coach parents through principles and strategies necessary to teach a child listening and spoken language
  • Collaborate with child's team, including audiologists, physicians, teachers, early interventionists
  • Participate in continuing education sufficient to maintain ASHA certification requirements
  • Present at professional and community outreach / learning opportunities
  • Practice in accordance with ASHA and Code of Ethics
  • Practice philosophical agreement with and commitment to mission of All Ears! Center
  • Evaluate children with hearing loss to determine need for services using formal and informal assessment tools
  • Attend community events to promote the All Ears! Center's nonprofit mission
  • Other duties as assigned

    Pay : $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
