Join the Hock's Pharmacy team—a trusted, family-owned independent pharmacy. We're looking for a full-time pharmacist dedicated to patient care through accurate medication preparation, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and active monitoring of drug therapies to ensure optimal outcomes.

- $5000 sign on bonus (1 year contract)
Schedule :

Pharmacy ManagerScope of Supervision
Pharmacists, Technicians, Clerks, and other store staffResponsibilities include the following :
Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client / patients.Participate in audits, surveys, and inspections conducted by authorized inspection agencies. Participate in internal audits as needed.Help health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answer questions and requests.Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy.Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.Complete pharmacy operational requirements : organize and direct technicians' workflow; verify the preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verify order entries, charges and inspections.Provide pharmacological information : answer questions and requests of health care professionals; counsel patients on drug therapies.Prepare medications : review and interpret physician orders and detect therapeutic incompatibilities.Control medications : monitor drug therapies and advise interventions.Administer vaccines within applicable protocol.Ensure adherence to Hock's policies and procedures in addition to state and federal regulations.Assist in resolving patient concerns and complaints.Ensure ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations.Delegate authority as necessary to ensure that all responsibilities of this position are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.Participate in company committees, meetings and morning huddle.Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities, as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager.Minimum Qualifications
Valid pharmacist's license with the State of Ohio Board of PharmacyB.S. Degree or Pharm.D. degree in Pharmacy from an accredited educational institution.Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.Ability to organize and plan the activities of subordinates, and to delegate appropriately.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Two years of pharmacist experience preferred.Current knowledge of all applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations.Physical Requirements
