Job Title : Technologist Profession : Technologist Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : 2 years NMT experience, Cardio experience License : NMTCB Certifications : BLS preferred Must-Have : 2 years NMT experience Cardio experience Description : Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging or treatment. Operates specialized equipment to create images showing how organs and tissues are functioning. Explains procedures to patients. Ensures radiation safety for patients and themselves. Maintains equipment and documents the processes. Collaborates with physicians to diagnose conditions. Provides crucial data for patient care and research. Works in hospitals, clinics, and labs.
