Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 3+ years of experience and advanced proficiency in SPECT / CT and cardiac studies.

Responsibilities

Single technologist role in a general nuclear medicine department

Conduct bone scans, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, cardiac, and parathyroid studies with an emphasis on cardiac imaging

Uses Siemens Symbia Intevo Excel SPECT / CT equipment

EMR is Epic and Philips iSite PACS; charting experience required

Day shifts are 8 hours starting at 7 : 00 AM with some flexibility

No weekend or holiday shifts required

No call or call-back requirements

Responsible for all technical and patient care duties as the department’s only Nuclear Med Tech

Orientation week hours may vary due to unit closure on holidays

Scrubs or dress code requirements not specified

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ nuclear medicine technologist experience

Certification required : AHA BLS and ARRT (N) or CNMT

Proficiency with SPECT / CT and Siemens Symbia Intevo Excel equipment

Experience performing a full range of general nuclear medicine and cardiac imaging procedures

Familiarity with Epic and Philips iSite PACS for charting

Ability to work independently as the sole technologist

License required if applicable
