About The Position

A hospital in Maryland is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 40-day locum tenens assignment starting on 09 / 01 / 2025. This role involves providing night shift coverage (7 PM to 7 AM) for 5-10 shifts per month in a mixed medical / surgical ICU and stepdown unit. The ideal candidate should be available for last-minute, sporadic shifts without a set monthly schedule. Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, performing procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, intubations, and ventilator management. This opportunity utilizes the Cerner electronic health record system and offers potential for extension.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :
