Overview

We’re looking for a

Head of Marketing

to lead storytelling, positioning, and go-to-market execution at Payman. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of fintech, payments, and AI. You’ll own the narrative around agentic payments, build thought leadership in the banking and developer communities, and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption. You’ll collaborate closely with the founding team, product, and developer relations to bring Payman’s vision to market and shape how the industry understands this new category.

What You’ll Do

Craft and Drive Narrative :

Define and evolve Payman’s positioning as the trusted layer for AI and money, making complex ideas simple, clear, and inspiring.

Build Thought Leadership :

Lead content strategy (blogs, newsletters, social, PR, events) to position Payman as the voice of agentic payments in fintech and banking.

Execute Campaigns :

Design and run initiatives (launches, partnerships, webinars, conferences) that build credibility and generate demand.

Shape Community Engagement :

Partner with developer relations to engage the developer community through storytelling, showcases, and ecosystem content.

Own Marketing Metrics :

Track and report on awareness, engagement, and pipeline KPIs to continuously refine strategy.

Collaborate Across Teams :

Work closely with product, growth, and sales to ensure consistent messaging and aligned execution.

You Should Have

5+ years in marketing with a focus on fintech, payments, or developer platforms.

Proven ability to craft compelling narratives and campaigns that resonate with technical and business audiences.

Strong track record in thought leadership and brand positioning.

Experience executing across multiple marketing channels (content, events, PR, digital).

Ability to operate strategically while being hands-on with execution.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for fintech, AI, and the future of money.

Bonus Points

Experience marketing to developers or financial institutions.

Existing network in the payments, fintech, or banking industries.

Previous startup or early-stage company experience.
