Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Polymer Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales, business development, or key account management experience. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality-motivated, self-driven, and resourceful. Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with both technical and commercial audiences. Background in industrial, chemical, or manufacturing sectors is a strong plus. Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%), including overnight stays, as required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Role may be performed onsite or remotely, based on company needs. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate computer / software tools effectively. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities. Position Type : Exempt; overtime, evenings, and weekend work may be required. Position Summary
We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within the polymer sector-primarily targeting ABS markets. This role focuses on generating new revenue streams, penetrating strategic accounts, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across key industries.
- Focus on acquiring new clients, with an emphasis on ABS market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives.
- Lead the sales process from initial pitch to contract closure, managing complex decision-making cycles.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to develop customized, solution-oriented proposals.
- Track pipeline activity and performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging growth areas.
