Structural Engineer – (5+ yrs of Experience)

Location : Huntingdon Valley, PA

Type : Full-Time

Plan B Engineering is looking for a Structural Engineer, F.E. to join our dynamic team! If

you're an eager, self-motivated, innovative problem-solver who thrives on collaboration, we want

you on board. At Plan B, we specialize in structural stabilization solutions and unique design

approaches that bridge the gap between engineering and construction.

What You'll Do :

As a 5yr+ Structural Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our project

management teams.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Design and detail temporary structures and assist in developing construction sequencing
  • Support project managers in engineering and detailing standards
  • Perform structural calculations and modeling analysis for diverse projects
  • Assist with construction administration, shop drawings, and RFIs
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and prepare reports
  • Review design and field issues for code compliance
  • Work closely with contractors on equipment selection and specifications

What We're Looking For :

We're seeking individuals who are self-driven, detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative, with

a passion for structural engineering and design.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about new structural solutions
  • Ability to multitask, pivot focus as priorities adjust, and manage multiple projects
  • Interest in learning and utilizing various engineering software applications
  • Meet project deadlines and provide outstanding client services

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Structural Focus)
  • Experience : 5+ years in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field
  • Certifications : FE status with willingness to obtain P.E. Licensure
  • Work Authorization : Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
