Job description

The Associate Dean of IT programs is responsible for managing the technology academic programs at Keiser University - College of Advanced Technology, Pembroke Pines Campus. This includes managing faculty, adjuncts, with the support of registrars, academics staff, and the librarian.

The position entails :

  • Managing and training faculty and staff of the College of Advanced Technology.
  • Monitoring and maintaining curricula of technology programs.
  • Managing the delivery of educational services.
  • Overseeing and monitoring student performance in the College of Advanced Technology.
  • Proposing new programs to meet the demands of the industry and community's needs.
  • The Associate Dean is responsible for coordinating academic advancement activities within the College of Advanced Technology programs. These activities include those related to regional accreditation, enhancing and promoting the technology programs, supporting faculty development, and seeking and facilitating additional school partnerships. The Associate Dean's goal is to promote opportunities for the students by ensuring the college maintains accreditation standards, stays current with technological advancements, provides resources for faculty growth, and builds strategic partnerships with other educational stakeholders.

Experience

  • 5 year(s) : Professional experience in technology related field.
  • Education

  • Master's degree in technology related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence)
