Job Summary :
Alluvionic is seeking a Human Resources Specialist Journeyman to provide direct support to customer workforce operations. This role is critical to ensuring that HR functions—including recruitment, onboarding, position classification, benefits administration, and workforce planning—are executed accurately and efficiently in alignment with customer and federal policies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to supporting a high-performing workforce within a fast-paced government environment.
Must be US Citizen
Clearance Required : Must Posses Active Secret Clearance; SCI Eligible.
Location : Mclean, VA
Responsibilities :
- Execute full-cycle recruitment to support customer workforce needs
- Manage onboarding processes for new employees in compliance with policies
- Support position classification and alignment with federal and customer requirements
- Administer benefits programs and provide guidance to employees on available options
- Maintain accurate personnel records and update HR data systems
- Ensure compliance with IC-specific human capital and federal HR requirements
- Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback tracking
- Support employee relations initiatives to foster a positive work environment
- Facilitate professional development programs and workforce training activities
- Collaborate with HR operations team members to deliver timely and mission-focused HR services
Qualifications :
Advanced degree desiredMinimum of 3 or more years of relevant experienceHR operations experience in IC / federal environmentFamiliarity with Intelligence Community HR policies, workforce requirements, and HR systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiativesCandidates must maintain a Professional Demeanor and are expected to dress professionally in support of the clientBenefits :
