Job Description

The Unit Clerk is responsible for performing clerical duties, receptionist and communication functions necessary to support professional and auxiliary activities in the unit. He/she works under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse and manager.

Requirements

A. Education Required: High School Diploma

Completion of St. Barnabas Hospital orientation program

B. Personal Qualification: Ability to speak, read and write English.

Pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Mental and physical health to meet the demands of the position.
