Responsibilities Work in an ambulatory and inpatient hospital imaging setting Day shifts Monday through Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM Performs MRI procedures under general supervision of a radiologist Siemens scanner experience preferred Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to protocol and in a timely manner Educates and communicates with patients and families regarding the procedure Screens patients and individuals for MRI safety before entering the department Maintains equipment and work area to quality and cleanliness standards Carribbean Blue scrubs required and must be purchased by the employee No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius Team environment with opportunities to serve as a preceptor and receive ongoing training Responsible for accurate documentation and maintenance of medical imaging records Must be prepared to take call if required by the department Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience Active ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Active Texas license required if applicable Cardiac MRI experience preferred Must be able to work with newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patient populations Must provide two professional references for consideration Flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-631951.
